Today was an amazing day starting out with a bus tour around the city. We saw the Washington monument, Lincoln memorial, Jefferson memorial, and the Capital Building. We also had lunch in a senate building where we met with congressman Dennis Moore. We talked to him and he invited us to his office. After lunch we walked to his office where he showed us around and gave us a signed photo of us together, he even played a little guitar for fun. We then stopped by the National Air and Space Museum and saw the Wright Brothers Airplane.

Today was a very exciting day, we flew into Washington DC. Once we got into DC I found out that are hotel is actually on the same street as the White house, near the Lincoln memorial and the Washington monument, which we can see from our room! Day 3
Today was the most exciting day yet! We first started off with a radio interview at 7:45 in the morning which would be 6:45 in Kansas. Then we had a quick breakfast and after that the award ceremony began. They lined up all the international kids then the united states. Mary Lou Retton 1984 gold medal gymnast in the Olympics talked about what she did and how she became with Children's Miracle Network. Then one by one they brought out the kids. This was very exciting. When they called Weston Funk from Kansas I trotted out and gladly accepted the gold medal they gave me. It was cool that different countries had different straps for the medals. After the ceremony I talked to a few kids and just hung out. We went back to the room and relaxed for a while. Next we went to Magic Kingdom, and then we headed to Planet Hollywood to eat dinner. We came back and we were all tired but this was the most fun day so far.
The pictures of me are with Mary Lou Retton, Steve Young, and some of my new friends.

Day 2
Today was a tiring day. We first started off eating breakfast and surprise! A lot of Disney characters came through the room. I got my picture taken with a few of them and even a Canadian Mounty. After that we went to Hollywood studios(MGM) and rode Rock'n roller coaster, Tower of terror, and Starwars simulation. We got back to Coronado Springs Resort and went swimming. Here is the hard working part: all the sponsors came in and I had to give them a stamp of my signature on my picture. You think this is easy try doing that for 2 hours. Then I met up with a few kids and just hung out for a while. Ohh and one last thing Julianne Hough sang a live performance to end it. Once I was done man I was EXHAUSTED! My favorite part was meeting with the other kids and some of their names are Tess, Pearce, and Conor. over all it was a fun but tiring day.
